There have been many books written about enlightenment as well as a ”shift” that began a while ago. This shift is considered to be a time where people adjust priorities and get in touch with themselves in a new way. Instead of blaming society, the government or other people in our lives, the shift represents more and more people looking within themselves for answers, purpose and a deeper meaning to life, as well as taking more responsibility for their experiences and choices.
The search for enlightenment is not new. For centuries people all over have wondered about something inside of them that they could not explain, looked to the Heavens for guidance and answers and longed for peace, fulfillment, clarity and contentment. The shift lends to the search for enlightenment because more people are starting to see things differently and consider things in life that hadn’t occurred to them before.
Maybe you were one of the minority searching for enlightenment and spiritual fulfillment years and years ago, or maybe this is something new for you. But either way, know that you are not alone. There are many that have been traveling a similar path for decades. Just look around on the shelves of a bookstore for instance…you will see the bi-products of the search from someone else’s eyes. And you can even explore someone else’s journey to help you understand your own if you want to.
In your own search, you will likely be asking profound and perplexing quesitons that you now strive to find answers to. You may seek out “spiritual helpers” to gain some understanding. You might even feel a sense of urgency that you do not fully understand, but know that it is all okay!

Also know that part of the journey of enlightenment involves questions and searching because it is often a fundamental dynamic to realizing (making real) a new truth…to seeing your spiritual power from a new perspective and at a different intensity. The journey itself is where most people find their treasure, not the destination, because once you get to a destination it will likely shift too! It is easy to get distracted from appreciating the journey itself by striving for a specific destination so remember this! And as far as the questions that come up, remember that they serve a purpose, for if you do not ask a question, you will likely not recognize an answer when it shows up.
Stay with yourself, get in touch. Listen to your intuition, maybe meditate. The searching and seeking looks different for different people, but many people will agree that most of time that people find a new space or have a revelation, they were alone. With this in mind, you might want to spend some time by yourself regularly and be with your thoughts and your feelings in a quiet space. Reevaluate the people in your life and understand that we are influenced by those around us, if not outwardly, energetically. Consider your time as sacred and precious, and as you do, you will probably place more value on healthy and joyful relationships…instead of people being fillers or distractions (helping you in some way avoid something) you may choose to have people in your life that add to your life!
Continue to build a relationship with yourself, honor yourself. Your truth is true for you, but remember that you are the deciding factor in what that truth looks like! Certain habits, practices and even foods that you used to be drawn to might not be cutting it anymore and may need to be eliminated. Listen to yourself! Listen to your body! Make necessary adjustments, maybe break some old habits. Just because something worked before does not mean that it is still working now, so check in with yourself.
Now is a new age where you are supported by many more people collectively on your journey, so remember that you can reach out and embrace new friends! You are not alone, and the journey you are on can be a fun and exciting one!

Over the last month I have noticed that I do not get upset about “things” going wrong which in itself I find a little disturbing. Maybe I have come to realize that those “things” don’t matter, but I can’t help feeling that I have lost something with that realization. I have lost passion along with the frustration. Sometimes I think I am just becoming numb to everything and have “let go” way to much; is this possible? Basically I “just am” 24/7. Although I have gained a world of peace and feel I am an “anchor in the storm”, it is not very fun.
Within the time period March 30 thru April 3rd my computer crashed, my cordless phone’s batteries died, and my garage door opener batteries died. I can’t ever remember so many things “going” within a short period of time. Is something going on with magnetism that could be effecting those things or is it simple a coincidence.
